A lamp that I started making in 2020 and has been an on going process. It is made out of African Padauk and Zebra wood. It has first designed in Rhino 5 and made on a variety of woodworking tools. A laser cutter and 3D printer also helped in the design and manufacturing process.

KINETIC PAVILLION

AN EXPLORATION OF KINETIC STRUCTURES. PERHAPS IT IS POSSIBLE TO USE LIGHT WEIGHT MATERIALS TO EXPAND AND CONTRACT AND BE SUITABLE TO THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE WHO ARE USING IT.

WE DESIGNED A KINETIC STRUCTURE THAT WILL ADAPT. IMPLEMENTING A CHANGEABLE STRUCTURE THAT BE ABLE TO EXPAND, CONTRACT, BEND, TWIST, AND MORPH TO THE RIGHT SIZE BASED OFF HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE USING IT. ALLOWING FOR MULTIPLE EXPERIENCES.

INHAUS DESIGN COMPETITION 2018

This was a group project with fellow peers Huy Ho and Jamsion Owen. Our concept was to design a small house with the appeal of lightweight concrete. Which we achieved with having the structure become more dense as the program moves to the middle. Pilotis were placed in opposite ends for a more seamless transition.

POP UP CRAFT BEER STAND

The craft beer stand is a pop up concept that was designed to attract adults to come and relax in an area of any community event. Hidden behind the barley fence. Peace and tranquility can be found while the fence is allowed to sway in the wind. Simulating real barley.

VORTEX CUBE

The concept behind the Vortex Cube is to show the result of blending a single straight like along a two dimensional plane. While only rotating the line 5 degrees. The result is a geometrical parabolic like shape. And repeated to create a tunnel for a visual experience.
